ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) • DUNEDIN, Nov. 16. Early on Sunday morning last Mrs Kit to, wife of William Kit to, of Dumbarton Rock, cut her throat with a dinner knife. The windpipe is partly cut, but the main artery was not severed. The woman has had occasional attacks of insanity, and no doubt was suffering from its effects at the time of the rash act. Her husband has been from home for some few weeks, and is expected to return in u few days. The woman is expected to recover.
