IMPORTANT STOCK SALE.

Elsewhere in this issue will be found the particulars of one of, if not the most important stock sale ever held in this Colony. We. allude to Messrs H. Matson and Co.’s sale of Messrs Grigg and Russell’s stock, which is announced in consequence of the latter firm’s dissolution of partnership. To most of the farmers and breeders throughout the Colony the name of the Long beach estate is familiar, and neither money nor pains have been spared to procure the. very best cattle and sheep that could be had. Buyers from this district, and wo know that there will be some, may, rest assured that they will have variety enough.to choose from, and the quality will be undeniable, added to (his is the fact that the.sale has'been entrusted to Messrs H. Matson and Co., the premier firm of auctioneers in the Colony, and their name is almost a guarantee for the success of anything to which it is attached.
