The weather still continues all that could be desired for training purposes, and the Derby candidates are well forward in their preparation. Segenhoe is firmer in the market and 100 to 30 has been offered and 100 to 25 has been taken ; about Navigator 7 to 4 is offered and 2 to 1 taken. Guesswork is quoted at 100 to 12 (off.) Against anything else the odds run from 20 to 1 to 10 to 1. For the Cup, Sling has risen 100 to IS (taken); Sweet William Cunnannella, Little Jack, 100 to 10 (taken); Savanaka 100 to 12 (taken), 100 to 12 offered ; Mistaken are in thousands. A rumor is current that Sting has been sold to Miller, the bookmaker and sweep promoter, for £3OOO. There is great excitement about this as Sting has been very heavily backed for the Cup.
