Members of the Association can exhibit -on payment of the following foes:—Horses: Entires, 10s; other classes, ss. Cattle; Bulls, ss; other classes, 2s 6d. Single Sheep, 2s 6d ; pen of three, ss. Pigs and dogs, 2s 6d ; Poultry and Produce, Is. Implements, 2s 6d. Non-members to pay double fees in every case. 2. All stock exhibited must be the bona fide property of the exhibitor, or his principal. 3. The names, residences, and districts of the exhibitor and breeder, the breed of the animal he intends to exhibit, the pedigree of stock as far fis known—of sheep, the time of* shearing —young horses and cattle, the date of birth—must be given to the Secretary with entries. 4. In cattle, the ages will date from Ist July in each year. 5. No exhibitor will be allowed to exhibit more than one lot of the same description in Produce Class. 6. Stock that cannot he shown in a competing class, can be exhibited as extra stock, and if deemed worthy of a prize by the judges, one will be awarded. 7. In no case shall a prize he adjudged unless the judges shall deem the lot to possess sufficient merit, more especially if only one lot is exhibited, 8. All exhibits for competition must be on the Show Ground as follows: Sheep and Pigs, before 8 a.m.; Cattle, 9 a.m.; Dairy Produce, Poultry, Dogs, Implements, 10 a.m.; Horses—Blood Stock and Draught Horses, at 11 a.m.; Hacks, Light Harness,’and Ponies, at 1 p.m. sharp of the Show-day. Judging except for Horses, will commence at 10 a.m.; Hacks, Light Horses, and Ponies, at 2 p.m. 9. The Committee will not, under any circumstances hold themselves responsible for loss, damage, or misdelivery of stock, produce, or implements exhibited at the Show. 10. No stock, produce, or implements exhibited to be removed from the ground until after 4 o’clock on the day of the Show, without a special order from the Secretary.
11. All Horses and Bulls must be led: 12. No Horses will be admitted to tbe ground except those entered for exhibition. Horses for the Leaping Match will be admitted at 4 p.m. 13. An entrance fee of 2s 6d will be charged for entries made for special prizes in every case where a prize for a similar exhibit is not offered by the Association. Non - members to pay double fees. 14. No exhibitor can enter more than three exhibits in one class. 15. The judges shall have power to disqualify from competition any animal wrongly entered. 16. All protests of any description must be left with the Secretary not later than the hour of the Prize Tickets being affixed to the exhibits, and the Committee will decide the same as soon as possible. 17. All Hogs must have a collar and a chain. Admission—To the general public before 12 o’clock, 2s 6d; after that time. Is. Children, half-price. PROGRAMME. Prizes :— Champion Prizes, Parchment Certificate. First prizes in horses, cattle, sheep, and pigs, 20s and Parchment Certificate. Second prizes, Parchment Certificate only. HORSES. Class B. — Draught. Sec. 1 Entires 2 Entires foaled since Ist August, 1879 3 Entires foaled since Ist August, 1880 4 Mare in foal, or with foal at.foot 5 Filly foaled since Ist August, 1879 6 Filly foaled since let August, 1880 7 Yearlings 8 Geldings 9 Pair of Plough Horses Champion Prizes : Best Draught Entire ; Best Draught Mare. Class G. — Hacks. Sec. 1 Hackney Entire ‘ 2 Mare in foal, or with foal at foot 3 Mare or Golding up to 15 stone ; to be shown in saddle 4 Mare or Gelding up to 11 stone ; to be shown in saddle 5 Ladies’ Hacks (to be ridden by ladies) Class D.—Light Harness Horses ; to he shown in harness. Sec. 1 Pair of Buggy Horses 2 Single Buggy Horse 3 Spring Cart Horse (up to half a ton) 4 Pair of Ponies, 13 hands and under Class E—Ponies (13 hands and under.) Sec. 1 Pony Entire 2 Pony Mare or Gelding 3 Pony to bo shown in saddle, and ridden by a boy or girl
