In the course of his speech he stated in refering to the state of affairs in Ireland, that a decided turn for the better had been recently manifested in that country, and that the Irish were now evincing a desire to support law. ALEXANDRIA, Oct. 14. The trial of Arabi and the other rebel officers will be commenced on Monday next, the 16th inst. The Egyptian Government has consented to allow prisoners services of English counsel. BERNE, Oct. 14. The skull of Guitean, who was executed for the murder of President Garfield, has been stolen from the Medical Museum at Washington. Oct. 12, The steamer Balgairn, which was launched at Aberdeen on August 15th, has been totally wrecked at Benbecula, one of the Hebrides of Scotland. The bodies of two ladies have been cremated at Blandford, in Dorsetshire,
