At the same meeting he won the Queen’s Plate, 2 miles, w.f.a., beating Lady Emma, Nautilus, and Sylvanus. At the Canterbury Autumn Meeting lie ran third in the Great Autumn Handicap, won by Lady Emma (ust 131b) ; Sir Modred (Bst lolb) second. Natator, Randwick, Libeller, Hilda, Luna, and three others also started. Next day he finished third in the Easter Handicap ; Lady Emma being first and Natator second.
