This Afierroon, Wool and Produce* London, 30th.— The wool sale to-day was quiet. 6300 bales were catalogued. Money and colonial produce market are unchanged. Agrarian Murder. London, 30th.—Michael Walsh, recently found guilty of an agrarian murder in Ireland, has been sentenced to death. End of a Strike* Sydney, 30th.—The strike of ironworkers in this city has been virtually settled, the masters having conceded an advance of one penny per hour upon the present rate of wages. BANK MANAGER ARRESTED(Received 2nd Oct. 1.46 p.m.) Melbourne, this day.—William Hill, manager of the Colonial Bank of Australasia at Reedy Creek, has been arrested and charged with the robbery which was committed at that branch on August 12th last. Colonial Revenues. Sydney.—The revenue for N.S.W. shows an increase as compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. Adelaide.—The revenues for South Australia show a decrease as compared with the same quarter last year, caused mainly by falling off in land revenue. Queensland Railway. Brisbane, this day.—lt is stated that Government are likely to be in a minority on the Warrego Railway Bill, now before the Assembly, and that it is probable a dissolution will take place.
