Colonel Reader, Commissioner ©f Arrted Constabulary, Wellington, up to Monday, the 9th day of October, 1882, for the supply of Rations to the Colonial Forces and others, between the Patea and Mokan Rivers, for the twelve monthsending 3 let day of October, 1883. Specifications can be seen at the Police Stations Patea and Hawera, and at the Constabulary Offices Opunake and New Plymouth. Each tender to be accompanied by a cheque for (£25) twenty-five pounds sterling, made payable to the Receiver General only, and not to bearer, and marked by a banker as good for twenty-one days, as a guarantee that the tender will be taken up. The successful tenderer will require to find two approved Sureties of two hundred and fifty pounds (£250) each, for the due performance of the Contract.
