Trump Card, Tambourini, Danebury. Orlando, Nebula;, Resolution, Queen of the Yale, and Satellite. These are all horses that won many of the best weight-for-age races and many of the largest handicaps carrying often top weight. Hailstorm’s own performance on the turf for consistent running is unequalled by any horse in NewZealand. He has started" twenty-seven times and won sixteen races, second live times, third twice, unplaced four times. As a three-year-old he won Welter race at Patea and Forced Handicap and Maiden Plate at Napier. As a four-year he won Carlyle Cup, 2 miles, and J.C. Handicap, 2 miles, 7st 41b ; Wanganui Stakes Handicap, 2f miles, Sst Mb ; Waverley-Waitotara Cup, 2 miles, weight for age, and Handicap, 2 miles, Sst 1211); Taranaki Cup, 2 miles, weight for age, and Welter race, 1] ™- weight for age. As a five-year-old he won the Wanganui Slakes Handicap, 2| miles, fist 41b, and Kailway Plato, 1 i.miles, weight for age, and the Railway Handicap at Patea, T£ miles, ‘lst 71b. As a six-year-old be won the Railway I‘late at Waitara and tire Wanganui Cup Handicap, 2-f- miles, 7st Sib. Pits performance at the Wanganui Bpring Meeting, winning the Handicap with list 41b, and immediately after, against fresh horses, winning the Railway Plate with list 31b, in 2min. 4Gsec., proves him to be, for speed, endurance, and weight-carrying, a horse that has few equals. His four-year-old running at Waverley was equally good, winning the Cup, weight for age, 2 miles, and Handicap, with top weight, Sst 121b, 2 miles, against fresh horses. In the Wanganui Cup he beat three of the fastest and best horses on the turf at the present day. Terras—£3 10s each mare, and 5s the groom. Good paddocks for mares, free for one month ; 2s a week will bo charged for each mare after that time. Every mare must bo removed and paid for by December Ist, when the season will close. On the dam’s side Mu*ti is also remarkably well connected, being out of Flat Iron by Peter Flat—Emma by Gil Bias—Emily by Operator—Flora Mclvor by Rouse’s Emigrant, &c. Peter Flat was one of the most successful performers that has left England, and possesses a splendid pedigiec. [Sec Stud Book], Flora Mclvor was one of the best mares ever foaled in Australia, and her descendants are always eagerly sought after by breeders and racing men. Flora Mclvor was the grand dam of Figaro. Bay Middleton, Cossack, Nutwith, Zoe, and Waimca—the latter being the dam of Manakau, Toi Toi, and others, loi Toi is the dam of Kakapo. Harckekc—dam Korai. Totara—sire of Longlands, Papapa, Kama Kama, and other wellknown performers. It will thus be seen that Muvti is well worthy the patronage of breeders who wish to keep to racing strains. Mui-Ti is a golden chestnut, standing lb hands 3 inches high, and is splendidly proportioned, and of excellent constitution. Mufti's racing performances arc 100 well known to require any reference here. Mufti will travel between Patea, Opunaki, and New Plymouth.
