At the Dunedin Autumn Meeting he finished third for the Dunedin Cup, won by Sir Modred (7st 101b) ; On Dit (7st 21b) second. Fishook, Lady Emma, and Volunteer also ran. Time 4 min. 2 sec. At the same meeting he won the Queen’s Plate, 2 miles, w.f.a,, beating Lady Emma, Nautilus, and Sylvanus. At the Canterbury Autumn Meeting he ran third in the Great Autumn Handicap, won by Lady Emma (sst 131b) ; Sir Modred (Bst lolb) second. Natator. Hand wick, Libeller, Hilda, Luna, and three others also started. Next day he finished third in the Easter Handicap ; Lady Emma being first and Natator second. Public Notices.
