Public Announcements. Borough Council Election. To the Burgesses of Patea Borough. Gentlemen, —At the request of numerous ratepayers, I have pleasure in offering, my services as a Councillor, and trust you will give me a generous support at the poll next Thursday. My desire will be to promote the interests of all in the fairest possible manner; and while I see strong reasons for a policy of progress by pushing on local works, I will have nothing to do with party combinations in the Council, but will give an independent vote on all questions.
