Public Announcements. Borough Council Election. To the Burgesses of Patea Borough. Gentlemen, —At the request of numerous ratepayers, I have pleasure in offering, my services as a Councillor, and trust you will give me a generous support at the poll next Thursday. My desire will be to promote the interests of all in the fairest possible manner; and while I see strong reasons for a policy of progress by pushing on local works, I will have nothing to do with party combinations in the Council, but will give an independent vote on all questions. Delivery will be given so soon as cargo is landed at the wharf, upon consignees declaring their willingness to contribute towards costs incurred, and signing a document to that effect ; or notifying the Manager.
