His performance at the Wanganui Spring Meeting, winning the Handicap with 9st 41b. and immediately after, against fresh horses, winning the Railway Plate with 9st Bib, in 2min. 46sec., proves him to be, for speed, endurance, and weight-carrying, a horse that has few equals. His four-year-old running at Waverley was equally good, winning the Cup, weight for age, 2 miles, and Handicap, with top weight, Sst 121b, 2 miles, against fresh horses.
