Asa five-year-old he won the Wanganui Stakes Handicap, 2£ miles, fist 41b, and Railway Plate, l-J miles, weight for age, and the Railway Handicap at Patea, l-£ miles, fist 71b. As a six-year-old he won the Railway Plate at Waitara and the Wanganui Cup Handicap, 2-J- miles, 7st 81b. His performance at the Wanganui Spring Meeting, winning the Handicap with fist 41b, and immediately after, against fresh horses, winning the Railway Plate with fist 31b, in 2min. 46sec., proves him to be, for speed, endurance, and weight-carrying, a horse that has few equals. His four-year-old running at Waverley was equally good, winning the Gup, weight for age, 2 miles, and Handicap, with top weight, Bst 121b, 2 miles, against fresh horses. In the Wanganui Cup he beat three of the fastest and best horses on the turf at th’e present day. Terms —£3 10s each mare, and 5s the groom. Good paddocks for mares, free for one month ; 2s a week will bo charged for each mare after that time. Every mare must be removed and paid for by December Ist, when the season will close.
