SirG. Grey’s Affirmation Bill.

A Wellington correspondent telegraphs to a contemporary : Sir Georgo Grey’s Affirmation Bill provides that in all cases where an oath or affidavit is required to be taken or made, respectively, the following affirmation shall be substituted in lieu thereof : “Do truly affirm and declare,” and every person qualified by any act or law in force in New Zoaland, or otherwise, to take or administer such oath shall permit and accept the affirmation or declaration aforesaid.
