Cricket Tour. London, 9th.—The cricket match at Canterbury between the Australian eleven of Kent was resumed to-day, when the Australians continued their second innings. The required number of runs having been obtained, play was stopped, the Australians thus winning the match by seven wickets. Murder and Suicide* Sydney, 10th. —A woman named Elizabeth Smith, residing in Leonardstreet, murdered her husband by striking him on the head, with a hammer, and then committed suicide by hanging herself. The cause of the crime is unknown.
