Hawera, Aug. 4. General dullness has characterised the markets for the last month. At the Manaia Yards, on the 27th ultimo, there were very few' stock entries, although a good attendance of settlers. The farming implements brought very satisfactory rates. At Hawera, a very nice class of stock came forward, and were all disposed of, at or after the sale. Wo quote yearlings at £2 15s to £3 ; 18-months old steers £3.10s ; 3-yenr old steers £5 2s 6d ; store cows £3 13s 6d ;

milch cows £4 10s to £5 10s ; fat cows £5 7a 6cl. Sheep.—None entered. Horses were dull of sale ; prices ruling in favor of purchasers.
