Plant in the holes, seeds of millet, barley, purslain, red clover, grasses, See, and iu general any seeds which will germinate easily, and which will afford a variety, .of colour. Hang the sponge so prepared in a window, or place it in a vase where the sun will reach it, sprinkling it with water every morning for a week.
