Next Land Sales.
We understand that the land sales will held early in September. The probable dates are : Deferred payment sections on the Waimate Plains will be open for application about September 6th, and the sale of cash lands on the Plains will be held probably on the Bth, at Hawera. About 35,000 acres will be offered on the Plains. Momahaki block, about 9,000 acres, will be offered thus :—Deferred payment sections open for application about the 11th September ; and the sale of cash sections will be held at Patea probably on the 13ih.
