ITEMS PROM EUROPE.

The following despatches appear in the Melbourne Age : — Another frightful murder is reported from Dublin, the victim being a man who at one time belonged td the Fenian Brotherhood, but who seceded from it, and thereby incurred the hatred of the organisation, which compassed his death. Severe hailstorms have been experienced in Switzerland. Crops have suffered ■greatly in consequence, and in some districts have been totally destro}'ed. Consequent on the increasing number of undetected murders, the Government have

decided to employ bloodhounds to track the perpetrators of future outrages in Ireland. Riots of a serious character have broken out in various parts of the county of Tredegar, Monmouthshire. The military have been called out, and are now engaged quelling the disturbances.
