Waverley Riding : C. A. Curie 91 votes, W. Wilson 90, T. W. Fisher 83, J. B. Taylor 76, G, S. Bridge 70. Chairman of Council, F. M. Chapman. Meetings held at Patea first Wednesday in each month. pATEA Borough Council. Borough incorporated Oct. 13th, 1881. Council elected November 17th, the next annual election being due September 2nd, 1882. The annual election of Mayor takes place on the last Wednesday in November. The Council is composed as follows : MAYOR, George Francis Sherwood, J.P. COUNCILLORS Taplin, votes 100 ; J. Milroy 94, R. A. Adams 93, W. Aitchison 87, W. Dixon 85, P. Mahony 74, J. Gibson 69, W.
