Market Quotations.

Freeman R. Jackson’s Fortnightly Stock Report. Wanganui, July 12.

My sales during the past fortnight have passed off fairly well. At Waveriey a good muster of stock came forward. All the lots were sold at or after the auction* the bidding for sheep being very good" At Kakaramea about the usual number were penned. The attendance was only moderate, owing to bad weather. The bidding for cuttle was good, but indifferent for sheep. At the yards to-day the sheep were of good quality ; store wethers sold well. Cattle were at, ruling rates, they being only of medium quality. The Romney Marsh sheep from Canterbury were nearly all passed in, the prices offered not being up to the value. They are a capital lot of ewes, and are all in lamb to pure-bred rams, and are now for private sale at a price that is certainly not. in favor of the vendors.
