FOOTBALL ACCIDENTS.

• A Dunedin journal reports: The football match played between the Union and Zingari Clubs recently was one of the roughest that has taken place on the Union ground this season. Towards the finish of the game Hamer, one of the Zingari Fifteen, received severe injuries to his arm, and he had to leave the field and seek medical attendance. In another match one of the Montecillo forwards also sustained injuries which necessitated his being carried off the field. After a little while, however, he got round, and was soon again busy in the thickest of the fight.
