Assaulting a Captain: Wanganui.—James Redmond and Alexander Douglas Boyd, charged with assaulting Captain Pope on board the steamer Tui on Sunday last, were brought before the R. M. to-day, Boyd was sentenced to a fortnight’s imprisonment, Redmond being discharged.
