Wanklyn The Company is formed for the purpose of manufacturing Gas, and supplying it to the Town of Hawera. The capital of the Company is £SOOO. The capital, it is estimated, will more than cover the cost of land, buildings, plant, and material required at the outset. To bring the investment within the reach of all classes, the terms of subscription are made easy—2s 6d on allotment, and the balance in calls of 2s 6d at intervals of not less than three months. As commercial speculations, Gas Companies, in all parts of the colonies, have proved successful; and the promoters have every reason to anticipate that there will be a satisfactory profit in the working of this Company. Forms of application can be obtained at the Bank of New Zealand, and from the Secretary, at his office, High-street, or from Mr W. Cowern, Patea, and Mr F. P, Fookes, Waverley.
