Australian Cricket in England, Lond on, 22nd, —The Australian cricketers commenced a, match to-day against eleven of the Orleans Club, at Twickenham. The Orleans Club put together for the first innings a total of 271. The Australians were all disposed offer a total of 75 runs. The Austra-

WOOL GRAIN AND TALLOWThe N.Z.L. and M. report under dale of London May 25th says :—Wool competition is increasing, and market is firmer. Up to date 54,000 bales have been sold. The wheat market is quiet. The weather is favorable for the Home crop. Adelaide wheat is worth 53s per 4961b5, and N.Z, 51s. The tallow market is firm ; best mutton worth £43 per ton, best beef £42 10s. The leather market firmer ; best sides are worth lid. New Zealand flax of fine quality is worth £2B per ton. MELBOURNE PRODUCE. Melbourne. —Wheat has declined to 6s lOd, but the market is firmer. N.Z. oats are firm at 4s to 4s 3d for feeding, and 4s 4d to 4s 5d for milling.
