SUDDEN DEATH OF MR. BALLAM.

(telegram from our correspondent.) Waverky, Wednesday, Mr Duke Ballam, hotel proprietor,-died last night very suddenly. Ho was in bis usual health during the day, but felt unwell, about bulf-past eleven at night, complaining of a pain in the bead. Pie dosed the hotel as usual, and went (o bed. Ho became worse and died in half-an-honr, before a doctor could be summoned. The supposed of death is, heart-disease. His age was 41 years, : iuid his funeral is fixed to take place to-morrow. Mr Ballam was one of the best known hosts on this coast. He leaves a widow and several children.
