DIVORCE CASE.

At tbo Supreme Court, Auckland, on Wednesday, application was made in connection with the pending divorce suit, Charles Evans v. Annie, and W. C. Mirfin, in which the petitioner prays for dissolution of marriage on the ground of adultery and desertion, and asks £IOOO damages from the co-respondent Mirfin, who is Inspector in the Public Works Department, and is alleged to be cohabiting with her. The petitioner resides at Nelson. Co-respondent was ordered to give the name of a domestic girl with whom it was alleged the petitioner has committed adultery.
