PATEA VOLUNTEERS—PROMOTIONS.

The ordinary weekly parade and annual meeting of the Patea Rifle Volunteers took place last evening. There wore about 50 present, including the band. result of the voting was : —Color-Sergt. Kitching, 23; Mr Christie, 21. The former was therefore declared elected.
