St. Petersburg, 14th.—Rumor is current here to-day to the effect that a mine, which was intended to be exploded at the forthcoming coronation of the Czar, has been discovered under the Cathedral at Moscow. It is farther stated that eighty arrests have been made in consequence of the discovery. VICTORIA. Melbourne,lsth. —It is believed thatMr Gillies, formerly Minister of Railways, has been offered, and has refused, the position of. Clerk to the Legislative Assembly, at a salary of £IOOO a year.
