(per united press association.) This Day. Land Leaguers. Greyraouth, 18th.—A Land League procession, three hundred strong, paraded the town yesterday. Narrow Escape. Lyell, 19th.—The mailman and ferryman narrowly escaped drowning while crossing the Inangahua junction this morning. They were upset over the fall, and but for the presence of mind of the ferryman both would have been lost.

BOAT ACCIDENT—Three Lives Lost.

Invercargill.-—Three persons were drowned yesterday by the upsetting of a boat on the new river.
