Renter's Despatches to Patea Daily Mail
WOOL AND PRODUCE.
London, 18th.—Australian tallow and breadstuff's unchanged. 10,600 bales were offered at to-day’s wool auction, and a fair demand was experienced. Borneo Trading Company. London, 18th.—The House of Commons has passed a resolution approving of the charter granted by Government to the North Borneo Trading Company. Railway Collision. Melbourne, IBth.—At Windsor Station, on a suburban line of railway to-day, a train of empty waggons which was standing in the station yard was run into by an express train. The passengers in the latter were much shaken, and several of them suffered slight injuries. The express had a narrow escape from a total wreck.
