(per united press association.) . This Day. Election Petition. Dunedin.—The Gladstone election petition is dismissed by consent, the respondent being allowed costs. Miners’ Indignation Meeting. Kumara.—A large number of miners assembled at Dilmanstown last evening and held an indignation meeting to protest against vexations delay occurring by the present conduct of business of the Wardens Court; also to take into consideration the advisability of forming a Mining Board for Kumara. Resolutions were passed almost unanimously.
