The match on the Patea ground today is decidedly in favor of Patea, so far. The Brass Band is enlivening the scene, and many ladies and spectators
are present. Patea went in first and got 51, The Hawera team followed, and got 49. Patea went in for second innings; and at 3-45 this afternoon they had only three wickets down for 80.
