Raid on Beer Sellers.
Ashburton.—Mr Quinton, brewer, has been fined £4O for bottling without license, and for improperly stamping beer casks. Mr Wallace, publican, was fined £5 for having barrels improperly stamped, Mr Dig by, brewer, was fined £2O for having on premises capsules of bottles with name of an English firm, used for deception, S. Brown, publican, was fined 10s for permitting Yankee grab in his house.
