Christchurch.—ln view of the large influx of people at exhibition time, a register will be kept at the City Council, in which anyone can register their names and terras for letting lodgings and taking boarders. Committees have been appointed to look after the various branches of the projected exhibition festivities, and the Government wall bo asked to grant free passes for bodies coming to take part in them.
