Latest TELEGRAMS

This Afternoon. Progress of Exhibition.

Christchurch.—Mr Twopeny, who is on a visit to Dunedin, telegraphs that most of the leading Otago firms have decided to exhibit at the International Exhibition. Additional applications for space have been received in Christchurch from Auckland and Wellington manufacturers. The Mayor of Thames has telegraphed asking that space be reserved for full collection of specimens of the industries of that locality. The applications from Canterbury continue to increase in a satisfactory manner. Considerable progress has been made with the erection of the Exhibition buildings.
