With a view to re-organising the Thames County Council, all the employees have received notice of discharge. The Thames Star says there are now lying at Shortland Wharf three small steamers, intended for the nse of the Lincolnshire farmers. They were brought out from England whole, and are now being fitted with their engines. One of them is evidently built for speed, but the other two seem more adapted for towing.
