IRISH FLAX in HAWKE’S BAY.

Mr M. R. Miller, Napier, has had some samples of Irish flax and seed grown on Mr Gemmell’s estate, Wairoa. The flax is both dressed and in the straw, and the samples afford every evidence of the practicability of establishing an industry that is known to be a profitable one. The seed is of good quality and very clean.
