Letter from C. A. Wray re holding Assessment Court. Letters from Public Works Office and Patea County Council. Accounts passed for payment: Bowie & Davis £l2 15s, J. Brophy £1 4s, E. G. Boss £5 2s. Tenders received for Cemetery Road: James Bowie £69 15s, D. Herlihy £44, James Hughes £Bl 10s, P. Keenan £45, J. Dudley £95, J. W. Hughes £75, S. Kennedy £SO. Resolved that Mr Herlihy’s tender be accepted. Resolved that tenders be called for Morton and Luplon’s road by next meeting. Resolved that tenders be called for Nicholson’s road by next meeting. Resolved that specifications be prepared and tenders called for forming road to Block IX, Momahaki, by next meeting ; road to be 24 feet wide and 24 inches higher in centre than sides. Resolved that Mr Johnston represent Board at Assessment Court. Resolved that the Foreman Jof Works employ labor to. repair road leading to Wick’s, between sections 234 and 267.
