Cairo, 2nd.—A deputation of Notables waited to-day upon Cherif Pasha, and demanded that he should sign the organic law which had been agreed to by the Chamber of Notables. Cherif referred the deputation to the Khedive. Cairo, Later.—Cherif Pasha has resigned the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. Fighting in Bosnia. Vienna, 2nd.—lntelligence is to hand that desultory fighting has taken place between Bosnians and the Austrian troops. Numerous bands of insurgents are collected in different parts of the province, and frequent skirmishes are occuring.
