CANTERBURY STOCK REPORT. (From Canterbury Times .) At the Addington Yards on ,25th there was a very limited supply of all descriptions of fat stock, and in consequence competition was comparatively 7 keen for the various lots offered. In Fat Sheep, prime cross-breds sold from 10s to lls 6d each ; good ditto from 8s 6d to 9s 6d. We quote Ifd per lb as an average for mutton. Fat Lambs—Prime lots sold from 8s to 9s 6d ; others from 5s to 7s 3d. Cross-bred store ewes (2-tooth - ) brought from 7s 9d to 8s 3d ; broken mouthed merino ewes, 3s. Fat Cattle. —Prime steers brought from £7 12s 6d to £8 10s ; good ditto, from £6 to £7 ss. We quote 20s per lOOlbs as an average for beef. Store Cattle — Good forward conditioned two-y r ear-old steers sold at £4 each ; yearlings at £2 4s ; calves, 31s each. CANTERBURY GRAIN & PRODUCE. (From Canterbury Times.') The market during the week ending 27th has been very quiet, and a limited business has transpired. Wheat. —Prices remain at last week’s rates 4s to 4s 2d. Business on the new crop has not taken place to any extent, and exact quotations are not yet obtainable. Oats. —Values have in no way altered. Prices remain at Is lOd to Is lid for milling kinds, and 2s to 2s Id for feed. Barley,—We have no business to report in this cereal. Rye Grabs is quoted at 3s 6d to 3s 9d, cocksfoot at 31 d to 3£d,
