This Afternoon. A Slippery Debtor. Christchurch. —An exciting chase after a debtor occurred to-day. He had failed to comply with the demands of an order on a judgment-summons, and had been sentenced to a term of imprisonment, and. was being marched off by a couple of bailiffs.
