PROFESSOR THORNTON will visit Patea about Friday (this week), and will treat cases of Deafness. 1,400 Testimonials, including Mr Davey, Chief Surveyor, Christchurch; and the following Remarkable Cure of Deafness: H.M.S. Emerald, Wellington, N.Z., 11th Nov., 1881. We, the undersigned, do hereby certify that Professor Thornton has completely cored J. Cann of Deafnes, from which he has been suffering from some sonsiderable time, each day becoming worse and worse. The Operation only took about ten minutes, and was performed without the slightest pain, and before the officers' and crew on the quarter-deck. We, one and all, say it was wonderful how quickly Jno.
