Hailstorm is a rich roan, stands 16 hands 3 inches, shows great quality and power, has splendid action, a good temper, and is perfectly sound. His performance on the turf has proved him to bo a highclass race horse. He has started twentysix times and won thirteen races, was second six times, third once, and unplaced six times. Such consistent running is almost unequalled by any other horse of the present day. Terms, five pounds each mare and five shillings the groom. The season will end December Ist, when all fees must bo paid and marcs removed. Mares will be kept in a good paddock free for one month, and Is Gd a week will be charged after that time. Ho is perfectly quiet, docile, and tractable. No horse approaches him in quality and quantity of bone, muscle, and hair. He is a sme foal-getter, and his stock arc turning out first-class. He has taken the Champion Prize in Wanganui two years in succession, viz., in 1878 and 1879 .
