The principal matches to be played in New Zealand by the English Cricketers are: Invercargill, January 12th 13th 14th; Dunedin, January 19th 20th 21st; Christchurch, January 26th 27th 28th ; Wellington, January 31st February Ist and 2nd ; Auckland, February 9th 10th 11th. The tour is an English speculation, Shaw and Shrewsbury taking the risk and engaging to defray all travelling and hotel expenses, and to pay each man in the team L2OO for the tour, and L2O as an equivalent for the outfit and incidental personal expenses.
