Although comparatively a new-comer, I have a substantial interest in the place, and feel a warm desire to assist in the improvement and advancement of the Borough as a whole. It is particularly desirable that the Councillors should not be drawn solely from one part of the Borough, and I solicit your confidence as a Candidate identified with that portion which has been least represented hitherto, and as one who will not sink his independence to suit any party in the Council.
