BUSINESS Men and Settlers will b<s aware of the increased expense of a Daily Paper, as large and complete as the Mail is at present, with special delivery in a large country district. It rests with them to make this costly experiment a success .by increasing their business support to the Mail say for a year, by which time there will probably be sufficient increase of settlement to enable all to regal'd with satisfaction the good results of public co-operation. Friends will kindly recognise that, although a good Daily Paper is desirable, especially in stirring times, yet it can be made a success in this district only’by the generous support of all who wish to promote settlement and extend the commercial and shipping facilities of the district. The proprietor of the Mail is risking some loss at first, hoping that it will be made up by increased business. HAWERA Agencies for the Mail : Mr G. V. Bate, for Advertisements ; Mr J.
