SEALED Tenders, in duplicate, will be received by the undersigned, up to Thursday, the 15th day of September, 1881, for the Supply of Rations to the Armed Constabulary or other Colonial Force, between the Patea and Mokan rivers, for the twelve months ending the 15th October, 1882. Specifications can be seen at the Police Stations Wanganui, Patea, Hawera, and Normanby ; and at the Constabulary Offices Opunaki, Pungarehn, and New Plymouth. Each tender must be accompanied by cheque for (£25) twenty-five pounds, made payable to the Receiver-General only, and not to bearer, and marked by a banker ns good for twenty-one days, as a guarantee that the contract will be taken up. The successful tenderer will require to find two approved sureties of £IOO each for the due fulfilment of the contract.
