The Football match between Canterbury and Otago was played in Christchurch on Saturday ending in a victory for Otago by one goal and one try, to nil. The back play of Otago was much superior to Canterbury, and their forwards better than usual. Otago has now won two games, Canterbury none, and three have been drawn. The Otago team are very jubilant over their victory. The weather was beautiful, and about 1500 people were on the ground.
