DISEASE IN DAIRIES.
Some disgusting reports as to the condition of dairies have induced the Auckland City 1 Council to request the Government to provide for regular inspection of dairies. An ex-inspector in the Hott (Wellington) district had seen the putrid carcase of a dead cow, and of a calf, in a dairy, and had seen dairy cows feeding in paddocks which stank a hundred yards away.
